Executive Career Management Chair.   The executive career management chair has the exciting opportunity to assist members in transition or seeking to transition to new opportunities by working with a network of recruiters and other job opportunity leads.  The ECM chair and focus on personal contact with those identified as in-transition or seeking transition, communicating opportunities on FEIs website or informally, and following up with recruiters.  Impact opportunities to explore include implementing a new opportunity communication tool, coordinating with The FENG, and potential ECM oriented programing

 

Executive Career Management Team Members.  The ECM team members work alongside the ECM Chair to bring new career opportunities to FEI Houston members seeking these opportunities.

 

Communications Chair.  The communications chair works directly with the chapter president, president-elect, and chapter administration to ensure an effective cadence of written and video communications to members and strategic partners.  These communications include monthly work sessions to conclude messaging points and coordinating message delivery through FEI administration and communication outlets such as the website, monthly meetings, and Frontier Marketing.

 

Academic Relations Committee.  ARC team members lead FEI in giving back to future financial leaders.  ARC team members manage the scholarship process and the Academic Honors Day event.  This includes working with the faculty at selected Southeast Texas Universities to send out the application materials, and ensure qualified students submit materials by the deadline.  Team member also communicate with the student winners and faculty in planning and preparing for FEI’s Academic Honors Day event held each February.

 

Strategic Partnerships Team Members.  SP team members work alongside the SP chair and with SP relationship members to coordinate FEI Houston’s relationships with its strategic partners.   This include maintaining and updating SP benefits, coordinating SP communications, planning for and executing strategic partner annual commitment cycle.

 

Calendar Coordinator.   The calendar coordinator has a seat at the center of FEI Houston’s operations.   The calendar coordinator utilizes an excel tool to lead in the coordination of all chapter events ensuring the calendar is well balanced across the fiscal year and that scheduling details such as speakers, Greater Houston area coverage, venue, sponsor, and dates are addressed and published in a timely manner. 

 

 

Programming Team Engagement Opportunities 

The programming team provides thought provoking speakers and member engagement opportunities that lead to connections that matter.

 

Promotions Coordinator.  The promotions coordinator ensures the full value of chapter events are realized by collaborating with the programming team, Women of FEI, and FEI administration, to promote chapter events - both leading up to the event and immediately after the event. The promotions coordinator also serves as the chapter focal point to ensure events follow the chapters event planning protocol.

 

Network Expansion Event Coordinator.  The Network Expansion event coordinator ensures networking events deliver maximum benefits to members as they make professional and personal connections that matter.  The network expansion event coordinator works with chapter leadership to plan the organizations to partner with (eg: PDA, ACG, NACC, EDPs, etc), structuring the event for maximum networking benefit, and coordinates the event execution.

 

Professional Development Session Coordinator.  The PD session coordinator works directly with strategic partners and FEI strategic partner liaisons to ensure PD sessions well-coordinated.   These sessions are most often the first session in monthly chapter events in which a strategic partner delivers the content.  The event coordinator works with the strategic partner and ensures the event details are published. The PD coordinator also collaborates with the CFO University Team and Executive Career Management Team on professional development needs and opportunities.

Speakers Bureau Coordinator.  The speakers bureau coordinator is at the forefront in FEI’s efforts to bring high caliber and thought provoking speakers to headline FEI events.  The SB coordinator orchestrates two work sessions a year to identify potential speakers and confirm who has the connections to reach out to them.  The SB coordinator then receives confirmed speaker opportunities and turns them over to the programming team for follow-up and confirm availability for specific events.  The work sessions include strategic partners and other select invitees.  The SB coordinator also maintains a list potential future speakers and past speakers.

 

Monthly Chapter and Special Event Coordinators.  The chapter and special event coordinators have to opportunity to work directly with exciting speakers for FEI events.  The coordinators follow up on confirmed speaker recommendations from the speakers bureau and others to book speakers to events and take the lead on executing selected events throughout the programming year.
