The Houston Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI Houston or FEI) is hosting a one day conference to provide a broad training curriculum for  chief financial officers and aspiring financial executives in the Houston metropolitan area. Attendance for the full conference provides approximately 9 hours of CPE credit & 0.8 CEUs. The program is applicable to CFOs, Treasurers, CAOs, division controllers, VPs or directors of finance, planning, tax, internal audit, investor relations, risk management, or financial reporting.

FEI is the premier resource for financial executive education and leadership development and the principal avenue to influence financial matters in Houston and the nation. With 11,000 members and numerous chapters throughout the country, FEI has been advancing the success of senior-level financial executives, their organizations and the profession since 1931. Persons who perform some or all of the duties of a financial executive, as defined by FEI, and who serve companies of sufficient size generally meet FEI’s qualifications. Typical qualifying titles and company size criteria are shown below. Individuals employed as financial consultants or service providers typically do not qualify for membership. Typically Qualifying Titles
Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, Controller, Treasurer, Vice President of Finance, Vice President of Planning and Analysis, Vice President of Taxes, Vice President of Risk Management, VP of Internal Audit, VP of Investor Relations, VP of Financial Reporting, Audit Committee member, and certain senior level financial executives with extensive specialized experience. In larger companies, a director or senior manager position generally qualifies.

Qualifying Company Criteria
$2 million in net worth, or $6 million in capital (combined net worth and long-term debt), or
$10 million or more in annual revenues
