Paul Rogers
Deloitte & Touche LLP

Paul has more than 25 years of experience with Deloitte & Touche LLP, providing Audit & Assurance services primarily to multinational companies in the oil and gas and manufacturing industry sectors. He has served a number of Deloitte’s significant and complex clients as the partner responsible for leading global professional service teams. Paul previously served as the audit leader for the Americas Region and also as the US audit and assurance manufacturing industry leader.

Presently, Paul serves as a senior leadership partner for Audit & Assurance, is the national managing partner of assurance offerings and is a member of the US audit executive leadership team.

He is a graduate of The Ohio State University and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Barbara J. Duganier
Buckeye GP LLC

Barbara J. Duganier is a Director of Buckeye GP LLC. Ms. Duganier was a Managing Director at Accenture and held various leadership and management positions in Accenture's outsourcing business, including as Global Chief Strategy Officer and as Global Growth and Offering Development Lead. A year prior to joining Accenture, she served as an independent consultant to Duke Energy North America. From 1979 to 2002, Ms. Duganier, who is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, worked at Arthur Andersen, where she served as an auditor and financial consultant, as well as in various leadership and management roles, including as Global Chief Financial Officer of Andersen Worldwide. Ms. Duganier has been an Independent Director of MRC Global Inc. since 2015. Ms. Duganier is also a member of the board of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) TriCities Chapter as well as an NACD Governance Fellow and has received the NACD's certification in cybersecurity oversight. Ms. Duganier is a former director of HCC Insurance Holdings, which was sold in 2015 to Tokio Marine Holdings. Ms. Duganier earned a B.S.B.A. in accounting from John Carroll University in 1979.

H. Stephen Grace Jr., Ph.D.
H.S. Grace & Company, Inc.

Stephen Grace offers clients more than 35 years of experience as a consultant, chief financial officer, director-at-large of a (then) Big Five firm and university faculty member. Grace is a noted author and speaker on economic and financial issues, with a focus on corporate governance. He holds a B.S. in industrial engineering from Lamar University, an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Houston.

Before beginning his consulting business in 1985, Grace was senior vice president of finance and CFO of Century Corporation and Century Development Corporation. At Century Corporation, the parent holding company, he had direct responsibilities for the financial activities and oversight of more than 60 subsidiaries, joint ventures and affiliated companies with activities including auto and equipment leasing, cable TV, architectural services, sports franchises and real estate development.

Grace served as national chairman of Financial Executives International 2003-2004 and received its Distinguished Service Award. A member of FORBES CFO Forum Advisory Board, he also is an advisor to the New York State Society of CPAs – Quality Enhancement Policy Committee. At Lamar University, he is a distinguished alumnus and serves on the board of advisors of both the engineering and business schools. He also serves on the Advisory Council at Jesse H. Jones School of Business, Texas Southern University.

Phil D. Wedemeyer
Ensco plc
Willbros Group, Inc

Phil Wedemeyer has extensive experience in auditing and governance of public companies and regulation of auditors of public companies. He currently serves as a director of Ensco plc (ESV: NYSE) and as a director and chair of the audit committee of Willbros Group, Inc. (WG: NYSE). He is also a director of Trinity Steel Fabricators (a private company owned by CapStreet Partners) and a director and chair of the audit committee of HighGround Advisors (a private investment and trust services company formerly known as the Baptist Foundation of Texas). Wedemeyer previously served as a director and chair of the audit committees of Atwood Oceanics, Inc. (acquired by Ensco plc in 2017) and HMS Income Fund, Inc., and as a director and member of the audit committees of Horizon Offshore, Inc. and Powell Electrical Manufacturing Company. He also served as a member of the Audit Quality Advisory Council of Deloitte & Touche LLP (2013-2017).

Wedemeyer retired in 2011 as a partner in the National Professional Standards Group of Grant Thornton LLP. During that time, he represented the firm as a member of the AICPA’s Auditing Standards Board and of the Standards Working Group of the Global Public Policy Committee.

Participants will take away practical techniques and tools to help them more effectively operate and collaborate in multinational environments with a mindset that transcends geographic and cultural boundaries. 

Liz Sweigart


Liz is a partner with PwC based in the Houston office. She has seventeen years of experience in intercompany transaction structuring, pricing, and execution; finance operations and reporting; and global project management. She serves clients across various sectors including energy, industrial products, chemicals, and aerospace.

Immediately prior to joining PwC, Liz was the co-founding partner of Verse Consulting, a boutique international business advisory firm, and before that an investment banker with Houlihan Lokey.
She began her career in international tax and transfer pricing at Arthur Andersen, before serving the Episcopal Diocese of Texas as Financial Officer for three years.

Prospective Member Form
Prospective Members must be submitted via the form link. All forms must be submitted for approval by the membership committee by 5:00 pm on the Wednesday before the meeting. Once approved, FEI will register prospects and inform the member or sponsor contact that the prospect has been approved to attend. This is applicable to anyone bringing a prospective member.

CPE Credit is offered for the PD Session and the Dinner Presentation.  One (1) hour of CPE is offered for each program.  There is not pre-requisite preparation or experience required.
