Daron Peschel

Daron Peschel is the senior vice president in charge of the Houston Branch, which serves 41 counties. Major operations under his responsibility include the Houston board of directors, cash operations, law enforcement, administrative services, communications and outreach, and other support activities.

Since joining the Bank in 1989, Peschel has served in numerous analytical and managerial roles, including cash operations, financial management, administrative services, property management and board secretary. He also was on special assignment at the Federal Reserve System Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.

An advocate of business and financial education, Peschel serves on the University of Texas McCombs School of Business BBA advisory board, Sam Houston State University Chair of Banking advisory board and the Junior Achievement Gulf Coast board of directors. Active in the Houston community, Peschel serves on Central Houston board of directors and the Buffalo Bayou Partnership board of directors.

Peschel holds a BBA in finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in banking and financial institutions from Sam Houston State University. He is also a graduate of Leadership Houston Class XXVII, Center for Houston’s Future, Federal Reserve Senior Management Training Program and numerous other executive education programs.

Billy Tilotta
Hein & Associates LLP (combined with Moss Adams LLP in November 2017)

Billy has over 20 years of public accounting experience and is an Audit Partner in the Houston office of Moss Adams LLP. He provides audit and consulting services to both public and private companies in the oil field services and manufacturing/distribution industries, assisting them with due diligence services, consolidations, and private offerings, as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Hein & Associates in 2002, Billy was an Audit Manager with Arthur Andersen LLP. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).


Mark Zilberman, CPA, CFE
Hein & Associates LLP (combined with Moss Adams LLP in November 2017)


Mark is an audit partner with Moss Adams LLP. Mark has practiced public accounting since 2000. His experience includes audits of mid-size public and private enterprises in the oil and gas upstream (exploration and production), oilfield service, construction, and manufacturing and distribution industries. He has also provided audit services to large public and private enterprises in upstream energy. Additionally, Mark’s background includes assisting both public and private clients with a variety of significant transactions, including public and private common and preferred stock offerings, and private placements of debt and equity. He has substantial experience with registration statements on Forms S-1, S-3, S-4 and S-8, and in reviews of quarterly and annual filings on Forms 10-Q and 10-K, respectively.

Prior to Moss Adams, Mark spent two years at Deloitte & Touche LLP in Houston as an audit senior manager in their Energy and Resources group with a particular focus on mid-size and large SEC registrants in the upstream oil and gas sector.

Prospective Member Form
Prospective Members must be submitted via the form link. All forms must be submitted for approval by the membership committee by 5:00 pm on the Wednesday before the meeting. Once approved, FEI will register prospects and inform the member or sponsor contact that the prospect has been approved to attend. This is applicable to anyone bringing a prospective member.

CPE Credit is offered for the PD Session and the Dinner Presentation.  One (1) hour of CPE is offered for each program.  There is not pre-requisite preparation or experience required.
