January 19 Webinar with Stout

January 19, 2021
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Topic: Navigating the Energy Market During COVID-19

In an industry known for volatility, 2020 is one for the record books. What started out as an already volatile year for the energy sector became even more tumultuous as the global pandemic hit and restrictions on travel and economic activity brought demand to a screeching halt.

As the pandemic raged on throughout 2020, many industry participants and investors continued to struggle to address weakened demand, capital constraints, and increasing financial distress – all while preparing for how the industry will evolve as a result of the pandemic.

In this webinar, Stout’s energy, oil & gas experts will discuss how companies can navigate this precipitous time and what they need to persevere through the pandemic and beyond.  This webinar will cover the following topics:

  • Recent M&A trends
  • Impact of COVID-19 on valuation levels
  • The best time to start an M&A or private capital raise process
  • How processes have changed during this volatile and uncertain period
  • Technical accounting considerations unique to the industry
  • What the future holds: Our look into the crystal ball
