Lisa is a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions group and Employee Benefits practice within Lockton. She has consulted with C-Suite leadership for over 20 years and her clients are private equity sponsors and private/public employer plan sponsors managing total cost of risk, driving program efficiencies, promoting employee engagement, and financial accountability across the insurance program. Lisa’s expertise is with large complex self-funded Health & Welfare plans; in addition to, risk management consulting and insurance brokerage for M&A, Reps & Warranties insurance placements, and Contingent/D&O/Tax/ Environmental liability insurance in the middle market sector.

Ed is Director of Lockton’s National Compliance Services. He has more than 30 years of experience as an Attorney and more than 25 years concentrating in the area of ERISA and other aspects of employee benefits law. He has extensive experience regarding compliance issues under the Affordable Care Act, the tax code and ERISA with respect to health and other fringe benefit plans; employee benefits issues in mergers and acquisitions; multiple employer welfare arrangements; and a variety of other employee benefits-related matters.

Sarah Mitchell Montgomery, Partner, Jackson Walker Law Firm
Sarah Mitchell Montgomery is a Partner in the Labor and Employment group at Jackson Walker LLP and has been practicing since 2004. Sarah regularly provides advice and guidance on challenging work-related matters, including high risk discipline and termination scenarios, managing leaves of absence, and navigating issues raised by federal, state and local employment laws, including the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. Sarah’s practice also involves providing litigation expertise to employers and management in complex cases involving employment discrimination, retaliation and unfair practices, and related workplace and business disputes.

Scott Behrens, Vice President, Director of Government Relations Lockton Companies
Scott has more than 9 years as an ERISA attorney and has extensive expertise in compliance with ERISA and other employee benefits laws, including the Affordable Care Act.
As the Director of Government relations, Scott frequently meets with legislators and regulators to encourage support of employer-provided benefits. He brings critical experience in public policy and politics to the role, having worked for a former chairman of the Committee on the Budget for the US House of Representatives.

Mark is responsible for Lockton’s National Risk Practices, delivering customized solutions in the areas of property, casualty, captive consulting, risk finance, private equity, analytics, global services, risk control and claims. These solutions are delivered within a strategic risk consulting framework aligned with clients’ corporate operational and financial goals. Mark spends significant time advising clients using advanced actuarial and statistical methodologies to help identify and assess risks, consult on how to best manage risk, optimize the purchase of insurance, and lower their total cost of risk.

Devin Beresheim, Executive Vice President Specialty Risk and Financial Services Practice Leader Lockton Companies
Devin is responsible for Lockton’s National Specialty Risk and Financial Services practice advising clients on strategy, execution and recovery for D&O, E&O, cyber/privacy, employment practices, fiduciary/ERISA, fidelity and related insurance products and services. Devin has deep expertise and spends his time with clients experiencing significant corporate change, including M&A, bankruptcy, restructuring, public offerings, and litigation.
