Lisa Bordelon, Lockton

Lisa’s is a Partner in the Lockton Dunning Benefits and Texas Houston Property & Casualty office. She joined Lockton in 2012 and has a focus in the management of large complex self-funded health plans, in addition to, due diligence consulting, portfolio brokerage, and transaction liability insurance programs for Private Equity. She has built a portfolio of public and private clients in Houston and across the US and with firms with assets in the South America and Asia Pacific region.

Mark Moore, Managing Director, Deloitte

 

Mark is a Managing Director in Deloitte’s Risk and Financial Advisory – Cyber Risk Services practice.  Based in Houston TX, Mark leads Deloitte’s Secure Software Enablement services in the Americas. Mark  manages a nationwide team of consultants that deliver a broad array of application security related services to Deloitte’s customers. His team develops comprehensive corporate information security strategies, security and privacy regulatory compliance capabilities, and secure SDLC programs including DevSecOps.  

Mark has direct, hands-on experience in working with large multinational companies in addressing their technology-based information security challenges. As a former SWAT team leader, detective, and CISO, Mark  has provided a unique set of skills and perspective to his customers over his 23 year consulting career. Mark has led and delivered many security assessment, design, and implementation projects to financial, healthcare, manufacturing, media & entertainment, and other Fortune 500 clients located throughout the US and globally.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Mark was the Director of Professional Services in the Americas for the Fortify pillar of HP’s Enterprise Security Products division. Formerly, Mark was a Director in Protiviti’s IT Risk Management organization and a partner in Ernst & Young’s (EY) National Security and Technology Services (STS) practice.

Jeff Estrada, Senior VP / Account Executive, Lockton

 

Jeff serves as a leader in the Financial Services Practice in the Lockton Texas Houston office. He joined Lockton in September 2007 specializing in placing and servicing Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Commercial Crime, Kidnap & Ransom, Cyber Liability and Professional Liability. Jeff manages a portfolio of privately-held and publicly-traded companies including many complex multi-national insurance programs. He is a regular speaker and panelist on cyber liability security risk management. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas Tech University. He is also an active member in the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.

Deepak Chaudhry, National Health IT & HITRUST Leader, BDO

Deepak Chaudhry is BDO’s National Health IT & HITRUST Leader in the Technology & Business Transformation Services practice, having more than 15 years of experience in technology, security management, and technical operations across a variety of industries including healthcare, legal, non-profit, transportation and warehousing.

Having led large-scale, multi-year projects, Deepak is experienced in managing end-to-end IT operations including risk and compliance engagements, information security optimization, enterprise business continuity planning, vendor management, governance, IT policies/standards development and implementation, IT change management, system adoption and integration, budgeting, and IT support services. He has extensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks and guidelines, including NIST, HIPAA, and HITRUST and has implemented Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platforms (Meditech, ECW), IT enterprise architecture and big data analytics.

Prior to joining BDO, Deepak was the Chief Information (CIO) & Security Officer (CISO) for the Public Health Information Exchange (HIE) of the Houston region, where he oversaw all clinical data integration projects, system, and process security. He has served as the Vice President of IT at Nexus Health Systems where he selected and carried out an EMR implementation and multilevel infrastructure improvements, including BYOD solutions, wireless and network improvements, security appliances and client computing.

Deepak was also a business partner for an EMR platform company which developed solutions for clinical therapy staffing, home health and the hospice industry. The client/server platform was utilized by the company’s founding physician to process billing & claims and note clinical patient charts for their home health and hospice business.

 

Professional Development Session:  FASB & SEC Update

Mark Zilberman, Audit Partner

Mark is CPA and a Certified Fraud Examiner with 15 years of professional experience providing audit and accounting services. His experience includes audits of mid-size public and private enterprises in the upstream energy space. Mark’s background also includes assisting both public and private clients with a variety of significant transactions, including public and private offerings of common and preferred stock, and private placements of debt and equity. He has substantial experience with registration statements on Forms S-1, S-3, S-4 and S-8, in addition to reviews of quarterly and annual filings on Forms 10-Q and 10-K, respectively. Mark has substantial experience with integrated audits for small, mid-size and large public exploration and production companies.

In addition to his E&P experience, Mark has also developed a focus in the manufacturing and distribution, oilfield service, and construction industries. In addition to his experience with mid-size companies, he also possesses audit experience with large public and private enterprises in the upstream energy space. He is a member of both the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Mark has been with MossAdams more than 10 years. Mark also recently spent 2 years as a Senior Audit Manager in the Houston’s energy practice of Deloitte & Touche.

Billy Tilotta, Audit Partner

Billy has over 20 years of public accounting experience and is an Audit Partner in the Houston office of MossAdams. He provides audit and consulting services to both public and private companies in the oil field services and manufacturing/distribution industries, assisting them with due diligence services, consolidations, and private offerings, as well as mergers and acquisitions. 

Prior to joining Moss Adams in 2002, Billy was an Audit Manager with Arthur Andersen LLP. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).

Prospective Member Form
Prospective Members must be submitted via the form link. All forms must be submitted for approval by the membership committee by 5:00 pm on the Wednesday before the meeting. Once approved, FEI will register prospects and inform the member or sponsor contact that the prospect has been approved to attend. This is applicable to anyone bringing a prospective member.

CPE Credit is offered for the PD Session and the Dinner Presentation.  One (1) hour of CPE is offered for each program.  There is not pre-requisite preparation or experience required.
